Juneteenth Celebration in Long Beach
June 14: Celebrate Juneteenth, a national commemoration of the end of slavery and a celebration of African-American culture, with a festival featuring African arts and crafts adn live entertainment, plus a kids’ area with a giant slide, games and bounce houses. Concessions available. Saturday, noon - 5 p.m. Free. Martin Luther King Park, 1950 Lemon Ave. (562) 570-4405
