| OK guys I'm looking for some help/suggestions, its getting close to the time that i will getting my next car to low ride and i have set my heart on getting a GMC bodied two door, i know their pretty much all the same with different nose cones for different manufacturers, but which is best and why ? I was after a Buick Grand National 3.8 TT because of its power and trim but it looks like finding one at the right price in the UK is like looking for a needle in a haystack, so i'm looking at other GMC bodied models (monte's, cutlass etc) My ultimate wish list... Power everything Covertable (cutlass ?) or T-Top V6 - not fussed about the v8 really good trim. Being in the USA i reckon your the best guys to ask for advise, especially for model names/numbers etc as i may need to import to the UK. So what do you all reckon, please post your opinions. Thanks guys. |

| Thanks i'll check out the export companies, but what i need is information about which model is actually best, not where to get it from. There are a few 80's American cars for sale over here but i need to know exactly what i'm looking at, for example if one of you guys said there was a convertable two door cutlass from '85, that would be perfect and the search would be on, if however someone else said they'd been in or seena 87 regal which had 'this that and the other' i might track one of them down. You guys (US) are amongst these motors everyday, which are good and which are crap, i dont want to buy a peice of junk. |

| UnitedRidaz C.C. | You cant go wrong with cars form the 80's...You can always drop a 305, 327, or 350 in them...Dont know if you want to keep everything stock or not but i have seen convertibles in alomost all years from the 80's in Regals and Cutlass's...But they werent factory vert's though...Are you planning on doing this conversion yourself or looking for a drop top already done??
