22s On A 64

I am attempting to fit 22s on my 64 Impala. Here is my progress so far. Pic 1 - The origional (wrong) tire that was mounted up with a lowered coil spring 265-35-22. Pic 2 - A front side view and where it meets with the fender with the correct tire 255-30-22 mounted up. Pic 3 - Another view of the front with correct tire Pic 4 - Lowered coil spring with the correct tire. The wheels on the front fit but so far turning the wheels are an issue. I spent last Saturday in the garage attempting to put the stock coils back in the car with no luck. The spring compressor that I have is junk and it wont compress the coil far enough so I can get it back in the car. Im going to try it again this weekend and see if I can make some progress. Check out my photobuckt page for all my pics of this build so far. http://s321.photobucket.com/albums/nn399/noclrnce/

Oh JUSTWESTCOASTIN.....Im not really into 13 inch wheels on big cars, it looks better with a bigger rim but thanks for the tip.

looks good on the steering clearance from lock to lock. Are you running 1/2 air line if so you might want to drill that hole a little bigger, you don't want the air line to rub a hole in it.
