Re: 13's or 30's
i've gotta believe that its all in the eyes of the beholder, which ever floats your boat. personally i feel the wires are more classy and traditional, but to me it also depends on what kind of car. oldies need the wires, they jus look too sexy, but newer cars, the bodies are so bubbly that the wires look too small, so in that case id do bigger wheels.

Re: 13's or 30's
I think a true lowrider needs to be rollin on wires, supremes or stocks. If you think of the word lowrider no matter what car pops is your head it should have those types of wheels.
Donks are not lowriders they are a class and style all their own and thats cool if thats what they like but THEY ARE NOT LOWRIDERS!!!! allot of the mini truck guys go with big chrome but as far as i know they dont like to be considered "lowriders" either. |

Re: 13's or 30's
i wouldnt put "requirements" on a style, and thats just what it is...... lowrider style. just because your car is two inches off the ground doesnt make you a lowrider, just like throwing some 13'' daytons on your beatle doesnt make that a lowrider. lowriding has a style and you have to get that style to flow through your ride like it flows through you veins. I have seen those donks have bags or hydros and they still aint lowriders. would be cool to see one three wheel though. they're custom but that aint lowrider style

A Donk Is A Donk!
Just Like A Mini Truck Is A Mini Truck! Now When You Get Into Mini Trucks With Wires And Hondas With Wires That Is When You Get Into Splitting Hairs! Some Car Clubs Will Not Take Trucks Or Hondas Even With Daytons Because They Are Not Considered A Lowrider. In My Eyes It All Depends On The Overall Atmosphere Of The Car. 95 Civic With Candy Organic Green Paint, Chrome Undercarriage, Gold Daytons, Hydraulics Or Even Air Bags Is A Lowrider In My Eyes. 87 Caprice Raised Up High In The Air With 24's Or Whatever With A 454 And Candy Blue Paint With The Hawaiian Punch Man Throwing The Westside Sign Is Not A Lowrider In My Book. I Would Consider A Hotrod A Lowrider Before A Donk. Sorry For The Caps:d ! |

But if this Honda had chrome 19's it would fall under "import" in my opinion. Maybe the interior would be the decesion maker "import" or "Lowrider" style |
