Worked on the impala......
Fuel lines ran... blower motor installed transmission lines hooked up to radiator new brakes lines on rear axle...both sides.. new rubber brake line on passenger side front... Coming along I guess.... Oh yea...Gas tank installed with new sending unit installed. What a day!! |

I even got a scar on my hand from the gas tank when I bumped the jack and the gas tank fell I put my hand up to stop it from falling on my face the edge on the tank where the metal is welded sliced my palm good I had a nice chunk of meat hanging. So I did what any good grease monkey would do I grabbed a dirty shop rag and some electrical tap raped my hand and finished putting in the gas tank. |

I have a 350 in my impala now and I still have the original 283 with 115,000 on it no bull$h!t it is in good running condition. I wasn’t going to sell it because I wanted to convert the motor to run on unleaded gas before I put it back in the car. But now I need money to get a telescopic drive line. So I will sell the motor if you want. |
