I have run headers w/duel, and most states with a car that old won’t need to be smoged so there won’t be a need for the catalytic converter.

Same here so I went down to the auto parts store and got a set of block huger headers and some cherry bombs drive it to the muffler shop and around 350 bucks later it was sounding old skool. I needed to stop the pipes just before the axle, so they don’t run all the way that just because my car will lay frame

yo jus..ya left too soon...they quit emission testing here in colorado...and i left my cat on my van,but took off the factory "spark arrester" and muffler....replaced muffler with a cherry bomb muffler way up by the cat.that way the sound is deeper cause the loooong pipe after the cherry bomb...lol
