can anyone tell me how I can either block an IP adress or trace it to prove how is sending it. I am having problems with a childish ex club member talking shit on the guest book of my website <a href="http://www.hypnotizedcarclub.com" target="_blank">www.hypnotizedcarclub.com</a> and would like to prove it is him because he always signs with fake names and eamails etc.

What kind of administration panel does you guestbook have?

If you are the administrator of your g-book then you should be able to block the wankers ID and most g-books also give you the option to block their IP at the same time, if however your G-book is hosted and administrated by another site you have to apply to them to block the dude.

There's loads of IP tracking software available to d'load off the net and they all work pretty well, although some have trouble with IP stacks and you'll only ever pin point the PC not the user, unless you hack their PC and look at Packet or cookie dates etc (this is all too easy.)

I resently got a new guest book that gives me the option of blocking ip adresses and i put up a warning that shit talking would not be tolerated and the problems stopped Its amazing how when they can't hide behind a computer pussies lose thier curage.
