Now days you don't need a full auto rifle. You can go buy a semi auto rifle and with good finger control you can fire it like a full auto or just use a rubber band.... it's called bump firing and it works, I tested it out last weekend with a semi auto only AK47.

Nope I think spending the time to learn how to bump fire from the shoulder and controlling your shots will be worth it. It's hard to bump fire from the shoulder, bump firing from the hip is easy. Shooting is expensive either way, full auto or not. Just think, you can buy a full auto rifle for $2500 and $200 transfer fee, $2700 I can buy a AR-15 for $600-$800 that save me around $2000, That $2000 can buy my 10,000 rounds of ammo and it won't take me that long to get shoulder bump fire down and I can fire my semi auto rifle just like full auto without having to change anything. You can't tell me that you wouldn't want to shoot it....lol

Here is a NIB Bushmaster E2S M4Al carbine, in .223 caliber. The barrel is 16", and has a birdcage, 5 slot flash suppressor. It has a Dual Aperture Rear Sight, screw adjustable for windage, and elevation adjustment by flipping apertures. The front sight is adjustable for elevation. There is no elevation wheel under the rear sight. It also has a 6 position telescoping stock, a web fabric sling, and 30 round magazine. The factory put the whole package in a hard case.
