Re: Discussion....

If you live close to a coast it is. Here in Reno and for sure in Cali the cost of living is crazy, forget about owning much of anything. Me, I'm just passing time right now. Waiting for my stocks to vest. Once that happens I plan on going back home to Kansas (Wichita) where I can make the same amount of money but the houses are half the price.

Thats a good deal, 146k for a new house like yours. Here that will get you an old condo. Brother paid 139k for his condo that used to be an apartment complex. The house i bought with my ex was 240k built in 1983 in the furthest valey from Reno.

Re: Discussion....

What would your house go for Doc? The house I am renting now would be 230-240k. My cousins in Kansas bought their houses in the 1-120 range new.

Re: Discussion....

Hard for me to get pics posted but you can see my house in the backround of my car.

Do you have a sprinkler system in your yard or do you not need one? I was thinking allot of houses in the mid area dont have them because the hunidity and rain. Here, if you dont have sprinkler you dont have grass.
