get the rust off that chrome.... here is how
this is how ya do it....
put some water in a bucket.... dump in some oxalic acid (wood bleach) let simmer.... use an old tooth brush every now and again....do a little light rubbin the longer it stays in the better pull it out of the ole bucket... use some corrosion stop.. stuff.... and boom.... another season on those wheels..... now dont confuse this with rechroming.... all it is is removing the rust... all the pittting will remain.. but who cars..... and chipped or flaked chrome. still will be... but... just a few hours sittin in a bucket of water..... absolutely no elbow grease at all!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i got more pics.. but this shows it all... |
