Re: My First Job
I started working when I was about 13. I worked for a property management company that my dad was a supervisor at the time. I would go with his crew late at night and pick up the trash for the offices and vaccum. I also worked at my parents bakery place. But at 15 i started working at the nursing home in maintenance and worked about 8 or 9 years there. I worked there before and after I lived in Texas. I had to work young cause my parents didn't have the money to buy my things like other kids, so if I wanted the new clothes and Jordan shoes I earned it. Guess that's why I love Jordans still to this day. I learned to work hard, be self sufficient, and a good work ethic from it.

shit farm work aint no joke when i was 14 i invoultarily entered a juvie diversion progam, to pay back restitution and guess the job. had to bail hay for 10 hours a day. lets just say this city boy had a new respect for that kind of work.

I was a amusement park ride operater for years, then i drove a bus for all the hospitals in spokane washington, then i entered he army national guard for 2 years, then i served 8 years in the active Army as an Infantry Mechanic. the best 8 years of my life was in the Army. Now i work for the biggest Department Of Defense Contractor General Dynamics as a Tank Technician. my heart is with the infantry though nothing like it, i miss it every day.
