I'm wondering if anyone knows where there might be any 59 el camino's for sale... either just the body & frame or an actual running car... are there any junkyards that I might be able to call where you guys are from?

A couple months too late. This yard up here just moved everything out to build a subdivision on. The yard had about 600 cars from the 20s to the 60s. The cars were all going for 50 bucks or to the crusher and they had two 59 el caminos. Don't know if some one came and bought them or the crusher got them. Sorry man. Just a little too late.

I think I remember reading that... I was really strapped for cash even then and I would have had no means to bring it home... now, I've got a grand cherokee with a towhitch...
