From Rock to Rap samples?
Hey guys I was thinking I might start to write lyrics again, It's been a very long time. I'm a big fan of Rap Metal stuff and it seems to fit well for white boys. For example Limp Bizkit, Lynkin Park, Critical Bill, Kid Rock etc. I was at an Old Skool concert and TONE LOC (funky cold medina, wild thing) did a track over AC/DC back in black, I've never forgot that and it sounded so tight. So I'm wondering what songs would be good to take from Old skool rock or pop and twist into a RAP jam? I know George Clinton and P-Funk have been used a ton in songs but I'm looking for something different. So far I'm thinking.
Paranoid- Black Sabbath Iron Man-Black Sababath No more tears- Ozzy Ozbourne God of Thunder- Gene Simmons Midnight Cowboy- Steve Miller band Back in Black-AC/DC Highway to hell-AC/DC What can you guys come up with that would be good tracks? |
