I saw Ice Cube on Conan O'brein last night. Wow has he changed! It looks as if the Tatoo of his three dots by his eye has been removed. Or make up over them. I'm trying to figure out exactly where he thinks he's going with his career. Any ideas?

First you gotta ask yourself how many albums has Cube put out in this lifetime? I don't know the numbers but i do know it's alot more then alot of other rappers. Don't forget he had a group called Kaution, and he did some stuff with The Lynch Mobb- Guerillaz In The Mist. Cube makes apperances on WC's shit, yeah the movies are wack but I think he knows what he is doing with his career. There's not really a market for his style anymore, face it the majority of rap/hip hop fans these days want to hear that one hit wonder, get paid then get gone music. You know that bubblegum laffy taffy, shoulder lean, this is why i'm hot, chicken noodle soup shit. To me that shit is garbage, and has ruined hip hop. Music isn't from the heart anymore it's just what sells. And cube knows this and is doin movies instead, I'm not mad at him but no way is he a sellout, he's paid his dues earned his stripes. I still listen to his shit and thats all i care about. You can't be a gangsta forever, got to grow up somtime-priorities.

good point never thought of it that way. Guerillas was a good one. I pulled out a SIR JINX album the other day I've had forever. Yeah I love Cube too and still and will listen to his stuff. Yeah I guess I better cut him some slack cause as old as he is he'll still kick my ass. Guess he had to do a couple movies so that his kids can watch daddy's movies when they are small. From that point of view I'll give him props and revoke his sell out status. I'll keep him on one to watch list for now. So who do you think brought about the down fall of RAP as it is today?
