Lowrider/hip hop clothes and fashions
I just thought I'd see what people said about the clothes that are out there today. I guess I'm old school where bad ass clothes were raiders hats, white shirts, jeans, the old NWA style. I have a hard time with the newer styles. I see the white guys at the mall with pink shirts down to thier ankles, and a flat bill hat. Maybe I'm outta touch here but I feel that just looks stupid. Especially on white guys. Latinos seem to be better overall with the LOC sunglasses and wife beaters and stuff. I don't know maybe yall can help out here but what the hell is with some of the styles out there. Now grills, the only one with those kinda teeth was flavor flav with his gold grill. What do yall think?

LOL
I remember seeing that around. I forgot about that I think I had a caddy hood ornament back in the day on a chain. Now to me that's how real bling was done. |

NO WAY! that is so cool!
I pulled my hood ornament off a caddy parked in a grocery store parking lot walking home from school one day. I think it was just chrome one with the red emblem in the middle. It was an 80's caddy the little one. It was the small caddys that they built back in the day. I'm sure I still have it around somewhere, I'll have to see if I can dig it up.Kfed the white hip hop fashion icon. Last edited by mr64magic; 04-20-2007 at 04:49 PM. |

Re: Lowrider/hip hop clothes and fashions
Yeah I still feel i keep it oldskool gangsta with a "LA" raider hat or a La Kings like back in the day. No flat bill. curved and pulled down real low or with my LOCS. NWA to me will neva die. I look old skool ans so is my car. i grew up in the 90's yo when rap wasn't on every radio station all watered down. RaP BACK THEN HAD SOMETING TO SAY. No candy shop, shakin ass, or whatever the hell else the dig up. Nelly I think started the downfall.

t-shirt and levis is my only disguise. What the hell happened to the Ice Cube of those days. I'd dare say he's soft as hell with the movies like... Are we there yet? and who the hell had the great idea to make a sequel to that one that is coming out this summer? I miss his classics like dough boy of Boyz in the hood or Friday. I turn 30 in two weeks I must be getting old.
