Define **CLOSE TO**....
We go to the car lot the other day just looking and find a 2003 Malibu she likes. We tell the salesman if he can get the payment to around $280.00 a month we have a deal..
He does all the stuff over at the sales counter and comes back with Quote:

I was going to buy a car for my mom from a used car lot. it wasnt a real expensive car, around 5 grand...
it said 4999.00 on the windshield I said, I'll give you 5 g's, thats it... no tax, title, fees bullcrap.. he kept coming up with 5400.. so I walked so he lost a five thousand dollar sale over 400 bucks.. |

if yall would have sat there long enuff,,,he ''could have'' got your payments down that low,,,,or u could have asked for the sales mgr....and talk to them,,,,,,,me and my brother talked this one salesman down alot,,,he kept goin to talk to his mgr. and ''see what he could do''..and everytime he came back,,,i said,,,,,''thats too much''''go see what else u can do''..he musta walked back and forth like 6 times...lol..everytime he came back,,,was a lower number..lol
