Post I'll take one...

The Cadillac Sixteen gets its name from the 13.6-liter 1000-hp V-16 engine crammed under its outrageously long hood. That V-16, a homage to the Cadillac V-16 built in the 1930s, is a pushrod motor and is not simply two small-block Chevys welded together. In fact, the design of this engine is new and will likely be the basis for the next small-block V-8. But Cadillac will not produce the 16-cylinder for the street. Everything about the Sixteen is big, including 24-inch wheels, 16-inch brake rotors, and an overall length of 223.3 inches. That's 16.3 inches longer than the full-size DeVille. Fittingly, then, the Sixteen comes with four-wheel steering for maneuverability and uses aluminum in the chassis and body to reduce weight. Cadillac is toying with the idea of doing an ultra-luxury car, and it has already acknowledged that it will build a V-12, so this car might not be as outlandish as it seems.
