How often do should you check the water level in your batteries for you hydraulics? I have had my batts over a year and checked them and five were low and one was empty. The empty one would not charge up so I had to replace it.

Check them when you clean them, batts are pretty low maintenance, if they need a top up only use distilled water NOT TAP WATER its to impure.
the battery that had the dry cell would be caused by a 'dead cell' first, where the electrolyte has fukked it self and then eventually boile dthe water dry, this duff battery would also create 'backcharging' from the other connected batts (in series) and drain all your power slowly and surely. check them about once a month to stay on top of it all. |
