| Registered User | well I been keept quite on this subjects because I really don't know on what to comment on. No one really wants to say why different car clubs are leaving the INLA other then the INLA is not listen to there ideas, nothing is getting done and what ever. I kinda stand with them but Lowrider Magazine/Golo really has nothing to do with Oklahoma. Its been years since they came over here. |

| Registered User | I know all about what happened, why happened, and whats happening. ill keep it short. it started as a good idea, with 13 requests given. none were met so these clubs went on a boycott. it got bigger, people were all for it. primedia thought it wasnt going to be shit, so they said "F them". they thought it was only a bunch of mexicans, little did they know. primedia did not want to deal (now they do) and the focus went to structuring the INLA. that is were the problems came from. most of the people in charge of the INLA now caused the problem, two people in particular. so once it all went down and those who wanted to let the lowriding community be the voice got ousted (except for those initial members who got booted because there plans were seen from the start) from the INLA. so now its a bunch of chiefs, no indians. i read quite a few law books and found some interesting things. the council members there now are pretty much on for good and will collect pay checks if they ever get membership going. and the real story is there are very few car clubs involved. an association in sand diego is in, but some chapters there cant even say anything because there main chapters control them. bottom line its now all bs, so just boycott if you yourself dont feel your being respected. im not going back until the new deal is done and the INLA wont be the ones doing any dealing, i can almost guarantee that. |

| Registered User | exactly. i met a lot of people because of the boycot that i otherwise wouldnt have talked to. the reason i post on LIL about it is because they are full of it and i can never sit and let anyone try to get over on anyone. new deal with go-lo, lets see if the "good faith" continues. a lot of damage was done. inla damage is beyond repair.harder to repair damage caused when people you were calling "friends" talk shit on you compared to someone/entity that was talking shit. buisness vs. friendship. ill pick friendship every time. |

| I've just read pages and pages of this Yak on lowrider online.com jeez what a nightmare. Anymore developments ? so far from what i've read 1) Lowrider mag and Go-Lo got rid of people trying to make life better. 2) a new organisation emerged from people trying to look out for themselves 3) it took a fall 4) it got back up 5) Go-lo shit itself and tried to get onside so whats next ? I guess we've got it real easy in the UK with only Two clubs and Two UK suppliers (soon to be three) especially as All members get on well together, heck there are only about 40 lowriders in the UK ! lol..... |

(3)the alliance gets bigger due to said individual, boycott begins (4)prmedia unmoveable in neogitions/even get racial, they put there foot in ther mouth even more (5)boycott starts (6)primedia gets rid of individuals at LRM (7)backstabbing begins as corporation talks begin in the alliance (8)bad and "not in good faith" practices dwindle the alliance numbers (9)new magazine forms, new shows in works (10)new person hired at lrm (11)negotiations begin with primedia and new lrm personel (12)now dwindled alliance have corporation in place but no followers. attempt to create hype with press releases start. posts about unheard of followers begin. statistics made but greatly overcasted. (13)people question alliance with no answers (14)deal with primedia reached (15)almost certain doom for alliance |
