a tiny bit is normal when you raise the car up it actually leaves a microscopic layer of fluid on the cylinder shaft. Overtime this can build up if its a daily and look like a leak. Im was looking for an excessive leak like when you lock up you car overnight and when you come out in the morning you have a tiny puddle under a cylinder and it has lowered a little.

if your boy cant fix it just pm me im sure i can at least narrow it down for you if you give me good feedback of how it performs.

never heard of a check valve being bad and the car staying locked up overnight. I have never seen a check cause the car to go up unevenly and then hold it up because its fucked up. Just my 2 cents. but if you want to order two and change them out yourself its not hard to do. Here is a link for some checks ive used and never had a problem with them yet.
