LoLo frames

Is $2,500 good for a 63 Impala reinforced frame?

It's just the frame no suspension parts, it is wrapped all the way around front to back with 3/16 I think.

Before I start pimping out 1lowcut's ass on the corner to get the money I need to know if the frame is worth $2,500.

What do you guy think?

Re: LoLo frames

supply and demand. you can charge the bastard 3 g's if noone in your area has that frame and it will probably cost him more than 3 g's for shipping and wrapped if he gets it out of state.

Re: LoLo frames

Just to clear up confusion, a lowrider shop has a wrapped 63 Impala frame for $2,100 -$2,500.

Is that around what they cost or does anyone know where to get one cheaper?

Call around to local shops and see how much they charge. Around here that is good deal. If it is welded and grounded down good and everything is properly done I would say so. In calli it might be on the high side because of supply and demand.

Re: LoLo frames

3/16 is kind of thin but since your are running bags should work good for you BM was charging 1800 -g-body and i think 19-2100 for b-bodies and thats with 3/8 thick shit. Going off of that and that you are close to vegas it might be kinda high for thin 3/16 on an impala frame. I wouldnt pay more than 2000 for it. Call BM and see how much they will wrap one for with 3/8 or 3/16 and uhaul that bitch back to reno. Ive seen they work and welds this is clean and he knows what he is doing! hope this helped!

My mistake, the frame is 3/8 wrapped not 3/16 and that’s from BM he said 2,100 or 2,500.

He said that they would do my frame for around 1,600 to 1,900 be pending on what I wanted done to the frame. But that is gas down and back twice or shipping down and back so no telling how much that is.

I'm just trying to find out from the lowrider community how much wrapped frame sell for so it will give me an idea on what to spend.

300-400 in gas down and back and you are willing to spend 2000 on a frame i would do it. You can check in sacremento to see if its cheaper but 2,000 is usually the ballbark.
