No, that's what he quoted me to take the car off the frame then plate the frame and then put the car back on the frame. Cuz when you plate the frame wouldn't you need to drill all new holes for EVERYTHING like body mounts etc.

Re: LoLo frames

if you did that then you may need longer bolts for everthing too. I would just plate around them. leave enough room for the bushing and crap where they need to be. I dont know though i havent done it, thats why my shit was cracked!!

See that's why I wanna plate the frame cuz when I bought this car I didn't know what I was getting into. I knew that I had to replace the engine and transmission BUT I didn't know how bad the wiring under the dash was fucked up I was just going to give up on it and pull my other Cutlass out of the field but I said fuck that I'm a stick to my car and jus see what it feels like having to do a car from the frame up. If I do that though homie I don't wanna have a weak frame and end up cracking it after putting in all that money to fix my car.

Re: LoLo frames

if i remember correctly they leave a bigger hole around the existing hole that way you will not have to make any changes there are also certain places that dont get plated because of parts bolting up.

O kay so I was just at my homies house last night and we were looking at this frame he was gonig to start doing. It's his first time doing one and he has very LITTLE exp and I have never even seen one done but what about the body mounts and the suspension do you cut all that shit off and then weld it back on? How do you get it back to factory specs?? I'll go take some pics of the frame and shit that way you guys can kind of explain it to me
