Yes it can be reinforced with the body on. Reinforcing is when you weld plate to the sides, top, and bottom of the frame boxing it in to make the frame stronger on the week points. If the body is still on the frame then you can only do the sides and bottom of the frame.

Re: LoLo frames

I wanna reinforce my frame but i don't know much about it. Then the closest shop to me is Solo Hydraulics in Salt Lake but he quoted me like 4000 to take the car off and plate the frame and put it back on. What you guys think? Rip off?? I could jus have ass it but I'm puttin a piston in so I really don't wanna invest all the money just to rip the frame

You can buy another frame, have that one done and drop the body on it. You can do a partial wrap, that's just doing the week points. Do it yourself with a torch and welder, heat em, beat em, and weld em. The price of steel as jumped up like hell. I was at one point able to get a sheet at $175 now it is like $390 and a frame take about 2 sheets.

I thing that $4000 is too much. I thing that you can have the frame done for cheaper than 4G's

Yeah but it's like miser211 said it comes down to supply and demand NOBODY here does frame work. Inless the homie from Caldwell knows somebody up their then I wouldn't mind makin a trip to Boise. Yeah I SHOULD just do it my self hahaha but I'm worried about takin the shell off the frame and all of the fuckin LINES I'm not very mechanically inclined. My dad's a motor head and has done a couple of cars from the bottom up by takin off the shell and shit but he never has time to help me out.
