Ok guys, Next year sometime I plan on pimpin out the cobalt. Its not a bad car now it took first at 1 of the 2 car shows it was in this year. Well anyway next year I would like to put air ride on it. I found a kit that looks alright to me but I was just wondering if the parts are good.
Includes : 4 - McPherson style Air bag struts , 1 - 6 gallon Chrome air tank , 1 - 3/4 HP 100% duty cycle 3.5cfm Air compressor 1 - Air filter/water separator/oiler/check valve kit , 4 - 3/8" 3 way gold valves w/ manifold , 2 - dual action 2 1/4" air pressure gauges , 1 - 10 switch control box , 40ft 3/8" air line , 20ft 1/4" air line , Includes all fittings and adapters

It wont be very fast, it will lift your car slow but it that is what you are looking for then you're good.

I run 1/2" and independent valves w/5-gallon tank and my shit hits hard like hydros.

If you mean slow as in 1 to 2 sec. then that is what I am looking for. I will take pics when I clean it all up to put away for the winter.

I'm just speaking from experience. when you see a car lift and it takes 1-2 or 3 sec. it looks slow. my air setup CLOWNS!!!! a 1-sec. lift, the biggest mistake guy make is buying an air setup that lifts slow and then after having it in your car for a month they want it to be faster and now they spend another $1,000 trying to make it faster.

all I'm saying is the cobalt air setup is SLOW!!! but if you want a slow lift then it is perfect for you.
