Re: pros and cons

so what I need are

-2 pump set-up (I'll probably buy them at prohopper once they start answering my e-mails and if they don't get to me by end of November then I'll go with blackmagic.

-balljoints from napa

- extend the trailing arms

-I ordered a set of 14x7 rev

Is that all I need?

If you want prohopper order everything at once and call them up and talk to armin. if you order alot you can usually get a better deal so its best get everything at once

My Vote--If you can wait till dec or jan blackmagic usually has some real good deals

make sure you get the lifetime warrantied balljoints cost around $30 ea.

Extend the front a-arms 3/4 to 1 in. if you are running 14's or bigger get dropmounts made and/or extendable trailing arms (dont have to reinforce these save yourself some time)

run 13x7 unless you are deadset on 14's

I believe yours is a g-body and you can use the 88 caprice a-arms with a little modification and they are extended almost 1" already

Have you thought about bagin the car? If your not into hopping it then bag it. Less mess, weight and dont have to wrap it. Each has its own pros and cons but if you just want a criuser you should consider bags.

Correct me if im wrong here but to hop on hydro dont you have to have a big spring that limits how low you can set your car? Most I have seen dont even lay low when dropped. With by bags I lay on the crossmember and thats what i like.

I have another car to bag. I don't know yet if I will end up hopping my 80 MC because I never had hydro's. If I end up hitting the switch to hop the car then I will start the other modifications. Just want something to cruise with this coming spring then I'll do a full frame wrapped soon as sept hits.

Re: pros and cons

Once you get the car juiced you will always want to go bigger. Better get what you really want the first time even if you have to wait and save more money..what you could really do is give me the Monte and go get you a Toyota or something,.
