| Registered User | Has anyone seen a watts link on an older Impala between 61-64 I want to put one on my car but there are a couple of thing I’m not sure about like? Is the gas tank to close to the diff.? Is the banana arm (upper control arm) mount going to be in the way? |

| Re: Has anyone seen a watts link on an older impala between 61-64 NO, but when I was checkin out different ways to rebuild my chevy I ran accross some of these websites. Lateral Dynamics :: Products Totally Polished- Custom CNC machine parts, Watt's Link kits, complete vehicle customization. Watts link, Airbag suspension, Bodydrop, Stock floor I don't know if this helps but there ya go! |

| Re: Has anyone seen a watts link on an older impala between 61-64 when you raise your ride the axle is forced to the right, when its at stock hight it sits square to the body, and when it is slammed its forced to the left side. Watts links is a multi hinge point hub that is usually centered and allows the ride to pump up or sit on the ground square. Last edited by LOW4LIF : 07-11-2007 at 10:03 AM. |

| Registered User | Re: Has anyone seen a watts link on an older impala between 61-64 I want to put skirts on my ride but when I lift the back the left skirt will be pushed off because of the pan-hard bar. The watts link replaces the pan-hard bar but keep the stability. I ask this ????? has anyone see a watts link on a car like mine, because I might run into some issues with the gas tank being to close to the axle and the banana bar mount ( upper trailing arm mount) on the axle getting in the way of the movement of the watts link. I don’t want to have to move the trailing arms on the axle because if I do that I might as well just do a four link rear end to solve my dilemma. |
