About battry tray clamp for '72 Monte

Hello, everyone!
I need your help,
I wanna hold battery down such as '63 IMPALA,
but I can't hold battery down
because my battery is aftermarket and
have no depression for original clamp.
So,what year tray clamp can I appropriate to my monte?
Or if I make tray clamp by myself,
please teach me how to make it and
what kind of material and tool should I use.

u can use just about any battery rack from any gm car all the way into the 80's as long as its removable... then u can go to napa or auto zone or jcwhitney online and buy the hold down kit.

You should be able to find the plastic battery tray almost anywhere. Some of them already have a manufactored tie down included on them.

go to jc whitney.com i think they have chrome tray with hold downs, if not try e-bay i seen them on there just dont remember exact location

I just sold my 71 monte

I just relocated the batt. to the trunk. Alot less headaches. a few benefits are; a cleaner motor compartment, easier to run music wires, simple anti-theft if you don't tell everybody what you did, no battery flyin into your fan

That happened to me hoppin
