Donks, Considered lowriders?

I've noticed that Donks, Box, and Bubble cars and showing up in lowrider mags. They look like the should belong in 4X4 mags. Do you guys think they are lowriders or if they should be in low mags? I thought that lowriders were that "LOW" "RIDERS" not "RAISE RIDERS" I do like the big wheels, not sure what I think of some paint styles like having numbers on your cars and product names like Sprite, 7-up, or Recees pieces. I guess I've been raised to believe if you can't tuck it, F*** it. Help educate me here, I'd like to hear from both sides.

Its a fad i believe...dont get me wrong, I like the way some of them look...I mean as long as they are not to big...I have 20's on the lac and 18's on the dodge...but for the impala I think either 13's or stock all the way....

Re: Donks, Considered lowriders?

yeah im with dennis on this, i love twenty inches and above on suvs and trucks. the bigger the better, but if you got a gap a mile long then lower the syspension. alot of people say why did you lower your 4x4, well one i always loved lowered cars be it body drop, juiced, or air, thats been me for a grip. yes dennis i had a dropped sentra on the old school 5 stars, cut the springs myself, hey my first project but it was return of the mack i loved that car. people say oh the camber is off, well no shit its always gonna be off when you throw some big rims on a lowered syspension, i get all kinds of shit. but donks, yeah thats a fad, the donks i seen are from those dirty south boys with 30 plus cheap ass rims, a jacked up syspension, cheap ass paint job(usually some number or georgia state, or i've seen one with the ice cream man on it). but pop the hood and its a tired out played out need a transplant 350. nothing custom there. big bodies, cutlass, carlos, ive seen it all and i don't care for that shit. you are right they do put them in lowrider, wtf. classics are meant for 13's and low lows get outta here with that shit.

Re: Donks, Considered lowriders?

any idiot that spends 12,000 dollars on 30 inch rims for a 200 dollar car is a fuckin moron to begin with. if you want to lift your car use bags or hydraulics. most people are compensating for their small dicks any ways. if you want a 4x4 go buy a fucking ford or Chevy truck and lift that. If you drive by me in a donk this is what you will get from medonks-considered-lowriders-finger.jpg
20's are cool if they are done right. but i aint seen but two done right.
