New Here

Hey all, just wanted to introduce my self a little. Well am the new guy and I have a 70 coupe deville and a 67 cougar that I plan on racing. The caddy is for cruzing. I like all types of rides, and I apreciate custom cars. I was look on the web for some direction in air ride suspension for my 70 caddy. The car is 4700 lbs and I like doing my own work. I never had a air ride suspension nor have I every done one. I'm not all thumbs, and with a little help I hope I can install suspension on my caddy. I need help in finding the right suspension kit, Thank everyone for any help.

Have you checked around the Air forum for ideas. My suggestion is not to buy some kit. The kits usually don't come with everything you need and you might come up short on performance. Get the parts and pieces you need to do it right make your self a list of the things that you are going to need. Decide what size you want to run, like 1/2 inch or what ever. You want to make sure you have enough to get a big car up like that. What compressor do you want? What size of PSI do you want your valves to be? How big of tanks? What capabilities like a F/B/S/S set up do want it to be able to do? These are a good starting point.

Air ride is pretty simple to install, so I've heard. I think Layitlow.com has a good tech on air ride. Good choice on the the Caddy, I bought my first one and am addicted. Welcome to the board, it's kinda slow here. Just check every few days.
