There is no doubt in my mind that the local shows are going to nothing but get better, since so many people are no longer going to spend the rediculous $$$$$ go lo wants to charge for exhibitors as well as spectators and vendors. You are going to start seeing more and more show cars at the local shows for sure. Yes i support the boycot, the money is important but dont let money allow you to forget where you came from and what lowriding is really about as go lo seems to have done!

Word! Dat was about as close to "Home" as you can get. But ya know I share this guy's opinion but go lo can change in the future and go back to being the Lrm it was back in 95 96 97 and so on, the LRM shows that was before dubz so there was nothing else to do but get coverage from the streets and be all about real lowridaz but the dubz and euro trends got big and now their attention is truned over to that as well as making money when back before any of this they just charged as much money as it took to make the show happen instead of focusin on a huge profit. I don't have anything agaisnt euros or dubz but that's just the way it seems.

But try to keep one thing in mind...Euro has the majority of the car scene as far as money goes for accessories and so forth...People will go with what makes money...Not to turn this into a debate, but its all about money with vendors!!!

always build something for you to enjoy. if you like to show your car do it. nothing wrong with trying to make money if EVERYONE can benefit. just dont jerk the people who make you the money. i really dont care what they do anymore, i know a few people who are going to do somethings soon.

Cool

You definetly need to build your car for yourself. But it is always nice to go out to a show and get compliments on your ride and maybe win money if your car is that clean. Out here on the east coast we don't have too many local shows that are worth going to. I know that if the local show scene was better then less people would rely so much on (GO LO) Lowrider. The proof that Lowrider (GO LO) does well on the east coast is that they are coming back to make up money they lost this month (August) In the Summer Slam Series where they will have back to back car shows 1 sunday in MIAMI and 1 sunday in TAMPA to make up lost revenues. I don't think they will be a big hit but people will go because we dont have to many other shows to attend. [quote]
