Exclamation Welding

I have been practicing welding with a stick welder for the last couple months and have got pretty good at laying nice looking beads. I wasnt able to get ahold of stick welder so i went and rented a wire feed welder to weld some powerballs on to my rearend and all i am getting is bunch of ugly bubblegum looking welds . What am I doing wrong ? Maybe welder not big enough , It is a lincoln powerpak 110.

turn the heat up and the wire feed speed down.. it should feel smooth when you weld, I'd bet the wire is pushing your hand back away from the weld, huh?
