Not a euro question, but an engine question still

How much is the average crate engine??? Also what's the best (ie. least expensive) way to swap an engine? I'm pretty sure mines on it's way out

They crange from about 4,ooo to ^^^^^^.....least expensive way is to do it yourself..

i reccomend a place that will pull your old one and install a new rebuilt and give a warranty for 4,000.00

Get a motor from autozone for like 700-800

Mike i just called my auto zone they do not sell motors of any sort..?
Maybe they are all different i dont know, so you might call a few by you 1st bud ....Or maybe mine are lying hell i dont know....lol...Good luck

I believe you get get the basic block ,heads , cam ,and such already put together . YOu will have to use all your ascessories like oil pan vlave covers , intake ,carb , alternator,waterpump, etc. You have to make sure that the stuff that you have to swap from your motor is in good working order or if something happens they will void the warranty on you .

Yea, Billy is correct...The sell them here for like 700-800 and you just swap it out...Also Advanced auto parts does as well...Maybe a regional thing though

Down south in redneck heaven, engines are a common thing to buy down here

Yes $600-$800 swap out all day
Then you can also get into "JEGS"@ 800-345-4545
or "PAW"@ 818-678-3000 for a bit more but better quality
