Chrome intakes

Does the chrome hold up a good while on chrome intakes on old small block chevys?? Always wondered and i went with aluminum intake on my old car...Just curious

on like old 350 small blocks i've seen chrome intakes when people boughtem but never really checked with them to see how they held up..sorry

wouldn't it be the same as on a Honda intake?

Honda intakes, or at least acura intakes, are just a arm with a filter on the end that joins with a colored connector

Old school intakes sit on the block...Just wondered about heat...But my valve cover hasn't messed up and it sits on the block...But those old chevy intakes sho do make an engine look good with a chrome intake and some kandy paint

well what i meant is ain't the metal the same and crap cause i know the honda ones can take some seious heat......
