Anybody know from experience, of a good Electronic ignition for my old school with points. I was thinking of goin with a Mallory, or some other sppedshop special. My folks are telling me to go to the junkyard and just go pull and HEI of a chevy. Thot I'd get some feedback b4 I venture.

accel is good, i've never used mallory

I used a Mallory in my 63 and never had a problem with it...Worked for 8 months with no problems and still going i guess??

I have been using MSD for about two years now, and it is still going great. Especially at higher RPM'S

msd is a really good brand
