The part about Ron Agguire having the first car with hydraulic suspension isnt a true statement. He was always rumored to be the first, but 2 months before he came out the was another car that was featured in a small publication that had hydraulic suspension, not only was this car built before Ron's car, it had electric powered pumps, Ron's car had hand operated pumps. I dont have the publication, but I got this info from one of the most reliable sources in lowriding and hydraulics, not to take anything away from Ron, he never claimed to be the first, everyone else did that.

Also the part about the new square dumps and how they arent as good as the original Adel's. That part was written before Adex dumps were available. That might confuse people into thinking Adex isnt as good as an Adel. But when Bill Hines made that statement to lowrider magazine, the Adex had never been heard of, they needed to edit that but never did.

if it wasnt true, as the editor you shouldnt have printed the few stories that came about. the customizing of vehicles has always been around. talk to Angelo Maisano, he'll tell you about the custom chariots of the Romans. lots of stories, most are true within their own frame of relativity. the absolute truth? dont think many or anybody knows that.

i heard about this before as well my guess any car easier to lift than a Vette at the time would be a Corvair but thats my guess. but for a fact it wasnt an impala.
