like building your models or buying the hopping ones from Wal-Mart??

I do both but really like the hopping ones

I always build my own. If I ever buy a walmart hopper I always scrap the wheels and hydros and ususally just use the body and the motor inside... I just recently did a grey 79 Caddy with2 motos that hits both back and front bumper... Pretty nice car!

i build them however i can to make them a lowrider or on a hydrolic stance lol it does not matter wat it is

i like building my own...with the aftermarket wire wheels...the ones with the wal-mart kit..looks to fake...i have taken the body's off them and put new body's and wires on them...but i prefer to do the hydros with the og motors and t-sliders

takes more time..but ALOT better performance

Mike, when I used to build them, it was more challenging to build it out right. I never did but one of those prefab frames. Wheres the fun in that?

i built 1 or 2 crappy custom ones... then bought some of the prefab parts and had a show winning impala...
now every now and then ill buy a pre fab one, just to amuse myself for an hour or 2.....
