I got a 59 belair model and I wanna redo the paint on it it came prepaint I will post pics of it later..can I just sand it off then paint it or what?

Use 100 grit sand paper to get all the paint off.... Then primer it, put down a silver or white basecoat, spray bout 3 coats of candy, and then bout 3 coats of clear aand you'll be all set! Or you cauld jst paint it with walmart model paint and say screw all the candy paint and time it takes to candy a car.

I'll go and check out the paint they got a fredy's then let you know cause if they have a colour I want more thenI will get that but thanks mike!
