First with a thin Marker mark where ya wanna chop your top at, or if you are making a hollywood top then do the same... Then either with a dremel or a small hand saw cut along the lines that you've made.... After that take some 100 grit sand paper and sand all rough spots smooth... After all of the primer and get ready for paint. Unless you wanna make a convertabble boot then go to your local fabric retailer and cut out your own custom boot.
