Attaching skirt to metal?
I have a side skirt on my Eclipse that is fully molded but I'm doing some repair work to it.
The sideskirt cracked from the previous owner right at the door jam and when I ground it out I realized that the fiberglass doesn't reach the frame. The part I'm trying to connect it to is metal but the sideskirt is fiberglass. There isn't enough material left to screw or rivet the side skirt in place and I have about a 1 inch wide hole that I need to fill. Is there any kind of bondo like substance that will stick to both metal and fiberglass so that it won't crack again? |
