No, the silver is the tuff stuff. the black is strong, stronger than most paints but the silver has twice the strength. if you just put black on then the black can fail in about 3-5 years

Hopfully never! I like the old school ghetto look of the bolt ons, but they're hard to find in new condition. Might have to break down and get the knock off’s soon. Gotta be two prong spinners though. Maybe I'll come up on some real daytons off ebay.
