$350 for a new top

One of my cousins is having his car painted by a friend who also does upholstery. Says he will put a new quarter top on my car for $350. Havent checked around on the price but sounds good to me. What do you guys think of the price?

sounds about right is he taking the trim off and putting it back on. Good time to paint the trim with duplicolor!

Sounds pretty fair. is he tearing off the old one or putting the new one over the top of it?

I dont see a problem with it as long as you know whats underneath the original vinyl. Most of the time you can feel and press and see if it has rust bubbles underneath. But If it does I would take it off and strip the glue and fix the rust. If its rust free I might do the same.

Did you have issues putting the trim back on with 2 layers of vinyl and foam backing?
