shaved and removing drip rails

I plan on cutting the drip rails off the truck cab. I have done this on a toyota once and it wasn't too bad. Any one ever done the shaved drip rails?

not i but my partner said it looks really good when its done right.

On my year of truck it causes them to rust on the bottom because of how the water is channeled. I think I'll cut'em off. I think it looks cleaner too.
