Filling chrome strip holes!
Any one taken the chrome off and have the holes left. How do you all fill them. I've heard to weld bolts in them and I've also heard nails too. then bondo and grind them them off. My new project is full of nasty chrome and i want to smooth it all out. Any suggestions?

Re: Filling chrome strip holes!
I've got some pics of how I spot-welded the bodytrim holes then grounded them down(I'll post em as soon as I can). It was the first time I'd tried and it was easy..GOOD LUCK

Re: Filling chrome strip holes!
I'll be a pro at filling holes by the time this is finished. I'm doing the frame work first then I'll start the holes. I have to be careful with the heat to not warp the metal. I've doen that before and made it a wavy mess.
