u put 2x4's and bolt,liquid nail them to the bottom of the floorboard, then just screw the seats in..or u can screw it to the floor,bolt and liquid nail,,dont matter how u put the 2x4 on the floor..cuz u wont see it at all..just gives u sumthing to screw the seats in to...

So if i place the 2x4 correctly I could use the existing bolt holes from the old factory seats?

yeah, if its close enuff to the seats u make,, and i think most factory seats have the bolts mounted to the floor, just with the bolts coming up thru it.. if they are long enuff , u could use those..i would just drill holes and use a bolt and lock washer goin up thru it, and then screw it with some self-tapping screws, but before u do that,, put a bead or spread some liquid nails under it,, once it drys, it wont come off.!!!

Thats interesting...I never thought of liquid nailing 2X4's to the floor...
