Post where to get stuff to redo interior

whats up all. since i just joined this site this will be my first post.
i have an 84 caprice that could use a good interior facelift. i already know where to get the cloth and foam and i have a staple gun, but what i need to know is this;
my stock door panels are water damaged and warped so i wanted to build new panels out of 1/8" thick cardboard baking like they already have now, but i don't know where to get it from. i have decided that since this is my first time i will go simple. any help would be great. here are some pics of my cars as of 2/1/02.

As a thought have you gone to a junk yard to find a replacement door panel?

1/8" thick cardboard, doesnt sound like much, isnt most door panel of that time a hard compressed fiberboard of some type?

If its cardboard you want go behind Kroger or Walmart, they will have cardboard bins back there, just ask them if you could have a piece or 2 of what you are looking for.

Question

Does the cardboard stay attached to the fabric or just gives you a design and then the cardboard comes out??
