Ive tried that 3m stuff in the past, I got sprayed, tacky, lay fabric down sticks for about 2 minutes then falls off, just my personal experience.

I wrapped my arm rest between the buckets seats last night...I think it turned out really well for my first time messing with interior...The rounded corners are a pain in the ass to keep from wrinkling but with time and patience (and some cursing!!) it looked pretty tight!!
