Post Door panels / How hard

Has anyone covered there door panels themselves...If so, what did you use to hold it up?? Staples, Hot glue..etc

i have done a couple of doors and i used that 3m spray like they use to put the carpet on the speaker boxes can't remember the name right now but it held real good. i will be doing the doors in my truck soon and will use it again.

I had no luck with that 3M crap. I would go with hot glue and staples.

I use the 3M regular not the Super, Super cost more but does not hold up. Also I use stapples on the back side. Hint for door panels always make sure you line the inside of the door with plastic before you put your panels back on and on the impalas make sure you clean out the drian holes on the bottom of the doors sso if you do get water in the doors it will drian out.

hey not to sound like a know it all but i do alot of intriors and the best thing for doors and headliners is contact cement it works really well just my 2 cents though lol

mike the 3m crap is messy and will undo in extreme hot weather...You want to use Hog Rings they look like big staples but are used for interiors such as vynal and tween velvet ect...

this is what i had in my truck..take a look at my mini i did everything except the two front seats and rear bench seat i did everything else.

Roughly how many hog rings will it take to do a door...And Chris, Where do you get the Cement at??

roughly a dozen a panel,,,,,,but they come in a box of like 100 for $19.99

u get it from lowes or home depot a gallon is like 15 dollars or so...... all u have to do is spread it on the door and on the material wait about 5 minutes and put it together it works really well and holds up to heat....
