Post how much material needed...

how much material needed to do a 64 impala...

paint , sand paper, thinner, reducer, filler, primer...

I know this is vague and I will probably have no response to those demands...

man that is going to be hard to estimate because there is a wide variety of products with different price range. what kind of shape is this car in and are you planning on doing the work yourself or have someone do it, sometimes its cheaper just to have a professional do it for you and do it right the fist time.

okay well that will help you out a lot, to give you a rough estimate i would think that as far as filler, sandpaper, thinner, and products like these its all going to be up to the condition of the car since some cars require more sanding than others. however with primer you should be good with a gallon this is enough to go around a car 2 or 3 times, and paint also depending on the style of paint will determine the amount.

do you know about PPg products...the DBC 500 clear base? I would use this for putting my flakes in it and tinting it for a candy effect?
