Question Vinyl Top

My car came off the showroom floor painted brown...icky, sticky, doo-doo brown. the vinyl roof is tan - can't really choose a nice color to paint with a tan vinyl top. Can you dye a vinyl top? If not, anyone got any experience matching colors to tan? I kinda wanna paint it like dark blue with some purple flake...it's a bonneville...lemme know

man just about anything can go ggood with a tan vinyl top. see cars all day long in any combination with a tan top.... its almost the same as using black or grey, it just matches.... especially if the interior is tan.

Lightbulb

Y'know, I didn't even think about going with a champagne color - I could save some $$$ and not have the jams painted and stuff - the brown that is now is like a dark champagne metallic brown color (just oxidized and faded) so I might could get away with it. Should I go with some metal flake? Pearl? I don't really know jack squat about paint, so I'm fishing for ideas

BTW, I'm rollin on chrome 13" 100 spoke k/o

Cool

I've actually been debating a dark candy blue or a tangerine (sp) orange metallic...
