| Registered User | real gold leaf is expensive. i have Angelo Maisano buy my shit. all depends on the market, the price of the gold. it does make a difference on the type of gold you use. according to angelo if you go the cheap route on white gold and use silver leaf it comes out like shit. not the same when you apply it, i think the gold sticks better. you waste a lot of it as well when you apply it. looks like your putting a lot on when rubbing it on, but the line is much thinner then the masking. so to do a car it can get expensive. if you are doing it simple then no biggie. but a book of good gold leaf is pricey but well worth it. |
